Problems with Tata DOCOMO Mobile Service

I can confirm this. Before 3G launch I was getting around 26-28 KBps (TATA DOCOMO tower is right in front of my bldg.) and now I'm getting 10-15 KBps. WTF??? :@I can't believe TATA DOCOMO is employing such cheap tactics to draw customers towards their over-priced 3G services. :|

Hi, I've a DOCOMO number 8983720981. I've subscribed to plan of 1 Gb Internet free per month. I'm trying to access Internet on my PC by connecting mobile (Model: Micromax Q5) to it. Till day before yesterday it was working fine, but now it is giving problems. I'm able to make a connection. Even Google.com gets opened; but when I try to access gmail it shows error "Internet Explorer can not display webpage". I'm able to use internet on my mobile phone without any problems. I'd called your customer care number 121, yesterday night but the executive misbehaved with me. I've called 5 times. Thrice from DOCOMO number. The first person (his name was Janual) asked me to create a new connection. I'd followed the steps told by him but it was also having same problems. Then I talked with persons named Mahesh, Pramod etc. but both of them kept me on hold for 25 and 30 minutes (saying tha my senior will be able to solve this issue) respectively. But nobody answered the call again. This is pathetic. I'd called again from my other ides number (9922962491) but the same thing happened. I've been kept on hold for 30 minutes and again nobody appeared. What hell it going on? I've wasted nearly 2 hours (and around 50 Rs) and nobody was ready to answer a query satisfactorily. The nodal officer for ODCOMO are also of no use. I'd sent a mail on 09 Nov 2010 regarding some other issue (Service Request number NWK092940929). The rsolution date was 16 Nov 2010. But it has been closed (11 Nov 2010) without informing anything to me! Great... I've never seen such a pathetic service from any operator. I'm really thinking of taking this matter in consumer court. I do not expect any reply from DOCOMO or appellate authority. Note: I was searching mail IDs of NTT DOCOMO to let them know how TATA DOCOMO is defaming them by providing third class service in India, but couldn't find any email IDs. Yesterday evening i tried to get help on web chat. The person was Bhanu. he told me that there mught be a network coverage issue in my area (he was telling this despite that I've told him that I was able to use it smoothly 3-4 days back!). He was not at all agree to the point that there is a problem.

After a while he told me that he would arrange a call of his senior in an hour... As expected nobody called me :-(

I don't know how these people are surviving in this competitive world? I've sent an email to [email protected] lets see if anyone has time to look into this.

I have had a chat with customer care executive, no resolution was given just that the server was under up gradation. A complaint was raised for the same on 03rd Nov. Upload speeds are around ~80 kbps and download speeds are ~10- 20 kbps.
