Oh its not? I was told by Airtel backend engineer that they use Tejas Gateways for Uttar Pradesh region(BRASLKO-1 and BRASLKO-2)

Excitel is using some Super Micro Computers BNG. Any idea how is it in terms of stability over longer uptimes?

Oh okay, anyway the model you showed is not a BNG.
SuperMicro doesn't make BNGs afaik, they might be using some x86_64 box as a BNG

lmao yeah, you are right.

But stability is at its best lol.

I guess thats the reason excitel is giving users in my town, speeds only upto 150Mbps. Their DIY BNG might die lol, but excitel is charging money for 400Mbps and giving away 150Mbps.

My ISP has Nokia 7750 BNG, it gets the job done, but they have set up a stupid PPPoE reset every 2d 8m even for static IP users. This is a headache, for users like me, who need continues connectivity.

@albonycal @Lolita_Magnum can we get our BNG changed? I opted for static IP in the past and my gateway was changed.
Is there anyway to change gateway without contacting Airtel? I am sure CC won't be of any help.

I tried dialing PPPoE on Access Concentrator BRASLKO-1 , BRASDEL-1,2,3,4,5,6 and BRASPTN-1,2 but PPPoE connectivity wont establish.

Yeah that won't work as airtel uses VLAN trunking to properly isolate them.
You can only connect to the AC you are assigned to.
Also, what will you achieve by changing your AC? I don't think they'll change it.

Experts at play

@albonycal my current AC is having high latency to some specific international servers where I work.
I had been on BRASDEL-4, it didnt have such issue.
