Always keep your area SDE, AGM, District DGM & GM's number & email address handy. And maintain a friendly relationship with all of them. That's the only way to get high-quality service.
Always change the default login credentials of the ONT.
Never get WiFi ONT, get basic dumb ONT and get a good quality WiFi router.
Always use ONT in bridge mode with extenral router to avoid any intrusion due to weak security of ONT.
Always use adblocking DNS...
Pay bills online only.
Restart your ONT and WiFi router daily to prevent ocassional random hiccups.
Learn to manage port forwarding for best experience on your router.
Keep Router and ONT in a cool place to extend their lifetime... And take this seriously.
PS-: Some more dumb ONT have two accounts...Admin and user. Please take care of changing password of both
