Hi India, You might be wrong or right but who knows this channel might be free of cost for all the users of Tata Sky for this series and i think this in TataSky this channel can viewed by all the users for the time being thinking about the customers interest of TataSky users. I think for Dish TV users its available only for maxi users which is very bad. Atleast they should add the channel for all the users for the time being. You have quoted that dish TV has added 6 channels out which if i am right 2 are Raj TV channels which i never watch and i am not bothered about that channel too. Regarding dropping of Zee channels 16 other channels if TataSky does not clear the due against Zee even i dont bother as i am a tamilian who occasionally watches zee channel and in working days i hardly watch zee boquet channels and in the week end i watch mostly the sports channel. I really also dont bother if sun tv is not coming to tatasky. As i am also subscribing to my local cable SCV (Sun TV cable) where for 70 rupees i get all the tamil, telegu, kannada, malayalam channels out of which i watch only tamil channels and mainly sun tv, KTV, sunmusic. To be in short i am not missing any channels where i have got substitute for every thing. One thing for sure TataSky is fighting out all the way. You are getting 40+ channels at free cost from DD DTH where in TataSky is paying for all the channels what we watch except DD channels. I am not saying tatasky is superior than Dish TV but i wanted to tell the dish tv customers there were lots of hue & cry before tatasky started. They have improved their service only after TataSky came. This you cant ignore it.

I am speaking about upcomming channels on both DTH opertors and Tatasky will add 1 more channels while Dish tv have 6 channels (Including UTV's Bindaas).

I agree that Tatasky has better picture quality and services but now Dish Tv have upper hand because they changed 2 TP with new compression tech and now we can see all star channels more clears.

Don't forget both DTH opertors move this channel to their main package soon. Dish TV welcome user still get this channel.

well i too dont understand that why is Zee sports launched. it has poor quality not picture but the way they telecast some sports is disgusting to watch. the camera men are not good like espn star has.

i too like the matches from nz,aus,eng,Sa and happy to have espn star

Thats the main reason i am not interested with Neo or zee sports and its better to watch in SAB, DD or sun channels.

Even though if the service provider is providing 300 channels. we will be interested in 20 - 30 channels at the maximum. Right now i watch ESPN, STAR sports, Ten sports, Star Movies, HBO, PIX, NGC, History, AXN, Travel & Living, Animal Planet and during week ends occasionally i watch if some good movies are played in Hindi movie channels. I am happy what i have got not worried about regional channels as i have 40 regional channels from Sun cable TV for Rs. 70:thumbsup:.

why are v guys fighting over the issue of tata and dish... There should be no comparision between the too...People who want more channels at a lower rate and want to compensate on quality and service can opt for dishtv..While people who want exceptional quality and service.. where 50% of the problems get rectified over the phone and the rest within the next 48hrs.. and dont want some unwanted channels should prefer Tata Sky...THere can be no comaprision, both differ completely in quality and service...Dishtv will get the sun package only if tata wins the case in tdsat hearing on 26th july..I'm not saying wat tata is doing is great!! but it is atleast fighting... If star ckt would not hav been on tata then i would hav opted to shout at my cable opertor than complaining dish...

Hi kunal you are absolutely right in your words where tata is fighting for every thing and more importantly it has invested 3000 crores of rupees where in no other DTH service provider has invested such a huge and in the future also no one will think about it too.

Well aju..The thing about adding new channels will be talked about less on the forum..I guess u r having a good talk wit the coo of tata...Therefore i suggest u to start a new thread on this site allowing tata users to make suggestions on the package plans.. the service.. the channel they wnt to watch.. any complaints.. Then u can mail him this link so that the coo is aware of the suggestions that v as customers are making.. Because i feel the info is not being passed to the respective depts.. And these higher athourities are not aware of customer feelings..I hope everyone likes this idea and i hope aju that u will do the needful, I'm telling u all this cos u r the person who has been in touch wit the officials...RegardsKunal

Well you are right. In my whole week I watch only

Sab Tv
ESS( Football and Formula-1)
Ten Sports( Tour de France and WWE)

I hardly spend times on other channels.

Well Mr. Karthikeyan Dish TV is not providing that Sun Channels directly from Sun TV its getting sun tv from the feed of DD DTH channels:hysterical: and one more thing in DD DTH you have got only Sun TV and Sun news and thats the reason you get only Sun TV and Sun news and you are wrong in your words that sun music available in Dish TV only Sun TV & Sun news are available in Dish TV thru DD Free DTH service and its also applicable for JayaTV, SS music and other 40 channels.

I just wanted to ask you do you really watch Raj TV and Raj digital plus. I think you cant compare the quality of picture and content with Sun TV, Sun music, jaya TV or vijay TV.
