from what i have read around here, airtel seems to be the only jackass doing that. though a lot of people including me see (nowadays) no throttling during day time on torrent downloads.

lol. airtel website is horrible. would have been better if you had talked about the plan details. do give mtnl a try. a lot of people have ditched airtel and moved on to bsnl and mtnl. almost all are happy!

mhm. those are likely to be shit expensive. compromise a bit. find 1/2/4mbps plans. what is your primary usage of the internet? i mean if you are happy with 80GB of data, i doubt you need 8mbps connectivity?

Well i am first of all not a individual user of my internet , my dad is on his ipad almost all the time when he comes from office , he watches youtube , streams music and also manages his office work ,
and then comes about me , i am a hardcore gamer , i play battlefield 3 which is said to require atleast a 2 mbps connection for lag free gameplay , also i use netflix at HD , and also i make youtube videos and also watch them on a daily basis ...

i talked to the airtel guy on 121 and he said that if 4mbps is available in my area then 8 mbps is also available

lol. i am on a 4mbps connection. airtel told me that 8mbps is not available maybe delhi is different!
