I am also having the same problem earlier i used to get ip address in 117.xx.xx range when i was on 599/- plan but since i have changed to 249/- plan my ip address is stuck between 100.xx.xx range and i get very bad pings at this. What can i do to fix this?

I get ping around 80-110ms when i ping on Google....
And my surfing is too bad..

This didn't used to happen when i was using 599/- plan. I think in cheap plans they deliberately fix your ip range to give high pings.

You are getting an static ip because of LFMT but on bsnl wireless broadband the ip is dynamic so you can change it by restarting the router

already just had a long talk with bsnl officer. my ip is 117.196.xxx.xx and my default gateway 192.168.1.1 . though after talking to bsnl official he told me that my internet gateway was from Bangalore. he did many things on my pc using anydesk but nothing seems to work. After hours of working he said that if my gateway was giving me problem then i shouldn't be able to excess as kind of internet service. And he said that ip cannot be changed. He told me to use a VPN and see if same problem persist and also no matter how many time i restart my cpe device my ip remains the same 117.196.xxx.xx. please how can i fix this
