What is the best DNS for BSNL FTTH?

I have been using 8.8.8.8 for a long, are BSNL's default DNS are faster?

Keep using whichever works for you. BSNL DNS will be faster since it's inside the network but since these things works in milliseconds you won't notice much of a difference.

I noticed that with BSNL DNS, sites liek reddit would take ages to load and discord emotes would never load. With Google DNS, it was better, but some sites were still blocked. I recently switched to Cloudfare Warp and it feels much faster

BSNL DNS may block some websites, you can go with current google dns and 1.1.1.1 as secondary.

there is no blanket statement answer for which DNS is fastest.

it varies greatly with ISP and location.

test every major DNS resolver and see for yourself which gives you consistently less RTT.

there are many tools to test but I suggest setting up monitoring like smokeping and observing the results for atleast a week and then choose.

Use DNSbench to test, add bsnl name servers, 61.x.x.x series and the default one u have, and with public dns servers (already on the app)

For me bsnl servers are fastest but we're unreliable. 90 to 100% queries were answered.

So choosed second fastes, for me it was open dns, and secondary 1.1.1.1.

Opendns have multiple recover check the fastest one.
