When will BSNL launch new broadband plans?

I am talking about AP circle regarding revised plans....

where in AP??? And FYI new plans not upgraded till now in Vizag city...dont knw abt other cities!!!

In Hyderabad....I was told that new plans are into action from Feb 1 2014

Thats correct ! speedtest.net & bsnl speed tester are showing expected speeds but when it comes to any downloads the download managers or built in download managers report very low speeds. What is this ? Are they throttling the speeds of download websites ?

Yep. Bsnl's network in its present form is extremely overloaded.

but really i just come to know that bsnl upgrading their plans in few more cities from "weir"...i am only hope that the information is right and they will do the same as fast as possible man...

I doubt that this is the only reason they did not upgrade the plans. BSNL have been speaking about losses for a while now - this, despite having monopoly & expensive pricing. Not sure if someone else posted or did it affect other circles, but in Chennai, they reduced the pulse of calls from 180 seconds to 120 for calls to other operators & inter circle calls (fixed/WLL).
Also, it talks about enhanced speed & performance, not about changes in plans & stuff, so I am a bit skeptical

"After this transformation, BSNL customers will be able to experience enhanced broadband speed, video calling, call transfer, modern cloud computing based services etc," Upadhyay said.

So, if you ask me even now, that am I expecting better plans anytime soon from BSNL - my answer would be ..
