It is real and its probably due to a bug as well. But this is not the reason enough if you want to move to bsnl. Because its not something that everybody is getting.
If you move to bsnl and u dont get something like this you will be pulling your hair.

i think u should wait for some time and see the reviews here and there and assure it then any day when its confirmed thats the right time for u to go...with bsnl
