A friend broke his phone lately it was a Nokia. He need some suggestions for his new phone.Budget is 10K, could be stretched to 14K if the device worth the price.Priorities are:1. Email2. Music3. I got banned!
motorola does not treat india nicely when it comes to their phones.
most of their android smartphones are designed for verizon. which are cdma based. so india gets the gsm editions way too late.
i actually like motorola droid series of smartphones. the leaked images of their next droid are pretty nice in fact.
too bad this phone would arrive way too late in india. would be priced way too high.

Agree 100% had a bad experience with those bozos. They seem quite unfit to be in the consumer durable industry, they are more used to dealing with corporate customers. BTW if the update mentioned above does not work then this model can be rooted see [HOW TO] Root Motorola Defy - xda-developers
