Bad news for Tata Sky DTH Customers

1. Tata Sky replace Ku band LNB with C&Ku Band LNB :yahoo:
2. Unlock the Set Top Box:yahoo:

Then we can get
1. Jaya Plus
2. Jaya Max
3. Isai Aruvi
4. Win TV Tamil
5. Makkal TV
6. Tamilan TV
7. Mega TV
8. Angel TV
9. Vasanth TV
10. Aaseervatham TV

And more Malayalam Telugu channels.

Will Tata Sky do this for us. By this Tata Sky dont worry abt the space in Ku band.

You need a bigger dish than that tiny 60cms dish. 6ft preferably for Cband.

But both the satellites are in 83 degree, then why we need big dish.
Dish TV using C band, their dish size is small.

Degrees doesn't matter. Satellite downlinking ERP matters. Cband wavelength is little bigger than Ku band and so lesser downlinking power. So we need a bigger dish for it. Dish tv is using KU band.

Ya I read tht ... Espn star will now be a part of sports gold package ... The base price of package will drop ... Worst time to do such a thing .... Bigtv will be here soon

Espn ,star sports, star cricket this ch are part of spots platinum pack. amount is 75 per month(Daily change pack). base pack amount will drop Rs 25.Other pack will drop Rs 50.

I dont think for ESS and star cricket TS will charge Rs. 75 as the channel rate for these channels are ESS - 35(max) and star Cricket - 17 (appx) and divide these prices by 2 as TRAI has ordered to give the channels for DTH @ 50% discount rate
