@pachabhut A government email client is very much preferred and expected as third party providers have a risk of spying and data leakage. So government employees usually use the .gov web interface
NIC itself recommends both Thunderbird and Outlook, with Thunderbird as the preferred one. IMAP is a secure protocol and Thunderbird also is well established platform. The web interface also runs the risk of data leakage due to browser level leakages through spywares. You are only as secure as you want to be.

Jaha tk mujhe pta chla h ki ye plans sirf Haryana circle me launch ho rhe h. Baki state's ka kuch confirm nhi h. Bsnl ye plans unhi jagah launch krega jaha uske user base pr affect pd raha h railtel se ya koi bhi other private ISP se.

If that's their only reason, then thats very distasteful. If they don't do this pan India, I will also opt for Jio or Airtel even if BSNL ftth is available. Not gonna trust a company as shady as this.

It will be launched in all circles but selected SSAs.

What's SSA?
its your telecom circle ,normally small states has one SSA but big states has 2 SSA

Each state in India is named as a Telecom Circle which is called “Primary Switching Area” and one or more Revenue Districts of the state circle are grouped together to form a Telecom SSA (Secondary Switching Area).

i think its confirm news
They just screenshoted the mail, added their watermark (lmao) and quoted everything already said here.
