BSNL Bharat Fiber new broadband plans (30mbps/100mbps/200mbps/300mbps) [September 2020]

BSNL is launching 4 new plans as follows 30Mbps@449, 100Mbps@799, 200Mbps@999, 300Mbps@1499. I don't know anything about FUP at the moment.

Somebody plz recommend me an ONT with atleast 2 Gigabit ports and telephone/VOIP-bridge port.

I today tested on fast.com on one pc which is on 1 Gbit and it reached 250 Mbps Dl and 200 Mbps UL

fast.com is terrible for testing speeds on BSNL, they have horrible routing. Best way to test is downloading something with a download manager.

Have you tried with warp @vishalrao ? Warp sped up GitHub for me significantly.

warp didn't make a difference to github download speed and actually reduced speed test results to under 50 mbps.

Each speed test on fast.com consumes around 1-2 GB data

My github downloads are under 1MB/s unless I use warp. It behaves differently on each networks and at different times.

Try downloading a file from Google drive,it provide best way to monitor stable speed.
No ONT would be able to fully handle 2 gigabit port.
Most ONT are single core.And 1 core max out at about 750mbps.(I remember test in my school 2 years ago).
Better to get two ONT if you need two gigabit internet connection.
BTW,if you need just two interconnected PC with gigabit link to your home network,Get yourself a dual core router,it will rock internal network.

@Kick933 My cat5 with 4 cables has 1Gbps link speed, maybe it doesn't actually move data anywhere close to that still it shows up as 1gbps. Standards are hard xD

@Adithya The insulation must be very great to minimise cross-interference,probably your cable has that....
