Fully Automatic Washing Machine and Dishwasher

I want to buy a Fully Automatic Washing Machine and a Dishwasher.
I have a family of 5. So would 8 Kg fully automatic front load washing machine be fine?
Front load or Top load?
I don't have much knowledge about these appliances. The machines should do most of the work and there should be minimum human effort.
Please provide your suggestions.
I don't have a budget but don't wanna overspend.
Would appreciate value for money model recommendations.

@Jonas I bought a Bosch 9kg front load last month and this is one of the best purchases I have ever made. You can go for it if you are looking for a new one.
Also, go for Series 8 its the latest[ Sales Would Push You For Series 6 /4 saying only steam wash is missing but always go for the latest. It misses on wifi connectivity but that was not needed for me although IFB and LG were offering it and about 4k less than this but Bosch is on another level.
Please don't get it repaired, I spent about 2800 on mine last year changing its PCB and the springs and again it broke in November.
Coming from Whirlpool top load and using it for 7 years this was a big upgrade for me.

I see people avoiding IFB nowadays and opting for LG.

IFB has gone downhill now.
even the IFB sales [ City Head] one said to me that ' bhaiya ab woh baat nahi hai isme'
Same words were repeated by Croma, reliance digital, and my state largest electronic shop chain sales people.
People using Bosch may tell you more.
LG is also good.

I mean a decent fully automatic front load would cost around 30-35K so just decide whether to spend a few thousand bucks on the old one.

The technician changed the door locking component and it seems to be working how it used to, with a slight push. Damage Rs. 1730.

I can vouch for LG. We have been using LG fully automatic washing machine from 2010 and it still works fine. The body has caught up rust from the bottom but the machine works flawlessly even after 13 years of regular usage. Reliability and after sales service is insanely good when it comes to LG products.
Even our single door LG refrigerator lasted for more than 15 years. Recently upgraded it to LG double door refrigerator during flipkart BBD.

My machine has burnt two clothes off late in two different washes. Giant patches on the clothes. We noticed it during the latest wash, on the spin mode (dryer). What could be the problem?

this makes no sense tbh. spin cycle does not use heat so it should not happen. i suppose with multiple problems affecting the machine, and it being still functional, it might be a good idea to use some exchange scheme and buy a new one.
