Its a clip from a tamil movie....where in the comedian gets banged banged....gets some time to breath...if you correlate it with Indian bowlers...Indian bowlers were got banged in test series with out a breathing ODI starts....

ODI will be different. Indian team is very strong in ODI.

Result will be unpredictable.

Wickets did fall but not between 60-75. But after 66th.

Score after 66 overs was 200 runs with just 3 wickets and settled Kohli.

So clearly no sign of trying to chase down the target.

I doubt they planned to play 20-20 style (in Australia!) and chase 150 runs in 20-25 overs.

I guess he is clearly lying then in the interview if we go by what you say.

'Our intention was to go for the target' - Kohli

Also I am including Vijay's dismissal and you are not.

When Vijay fell it was 170 off 30 overs, when Kohli fell it was 150 off 24.... I am pretty sure they would have tried chasing if Kohli was there and wickets had not fallen quickly in the other end till Raina. Maybe once Saha had to come out, they would have stopped.

And Australia had made more than run a ball in most of the previous inning. I know, bowling lineup is different, just saying it was not that unlikely either..

When Umesh Yadav can give away 45 runs in 3 overs in a test I shrudder to think whatll happen to him in the ODIs .. The bowling really needs to get their act together .. In ODI team also I hope Dhawan clicks a bit cause I love Rahane the test player but he is yet to prove himself in the shorter format . Another weak point is Rayudu .. Frankly dont see India go anywhere in the tri series or WC .. If they do well ill be more than happy ..

In India, people are attracted towards batsmen and not bowlers.

So everyone starts with a dream to be batsman OR at max an all rounder.

And hence the attention to raise bowlers is much much less and hence India never gets international level bowler. All are average.
