MTNL Broadband: Internet getting disconnected for 1 minute every few hours?

Called the gr8 customercare and they were clueless about the issue. As usual, "ADSL mein light jal raha hai kya" DNS 59 waala hai ki dusra?

I m getting the same problem as you guys. it works fine for a couple of mins and then just goes dead completely. After a couple of mins it starts working again. However during the entire period the Link light(adsl light) remains on. Since so many are facing this problem i am guessing this is some system wide thing. Has any1 got any further info regarding this?. btw my problem started since yday morning.

I am too getting disconnected every 10 mins surprisingly Google and Google run website work but none of the others work ! I tried disabling NAT, firewall , removed all security from the wireless router still it happens ! I guess its a back haul issue with MTNL.

Yes, I have got the usage records also stating Disconnection times !

strange in my case the mtnl usage log does not show yesterdays DC ??:huh:

modem are all on as usual but when I ping 59.185.3.10 & the reply goes into 4 digits then my msngr disconnectes & browsing comes to a halt. Almost no packet drops. Is it the same with others?? Please reply.
