Suggestions To Improve Tata Sky Service

I'm waiting for another 2 days and then I will post a consolidated list. If anyone wants to add anything they can and then I will forward it to Tata Sky.
 
Thats good then mate. Make the list and then give it one more day for more ideas to pour in and then send it.
 
Below are my suggestion.

1) They have to stop displaying of 8 digit number every 15 minutes

2) Add automatic channel switching functionality which helps in scheduling the recording of TV programs when we are away. presently the alert needs to be selected again before some predefined time period to enable automatic switching. Not at all use full in above case.

3) Ability to add free to air channels (FTAs) under other channels. ( heard that they have intentionally disabled this feature. )

4) Add more movie and other popular channels.

5) off course by reducing the monthly charges.

6) replying to mails sent to [email protected] ( which they never do)

7) all other things related to quality etc.


i request people not to buy/renew Tata Sky until the points 1 and 3 are met.

I decided not to recharge until at least 1 and 3 are met even though i may loose connection.

I don't know how people are tolerating that 8 digit number which is displayed by the Set top box every 15 minuets.
 
i am Tata Sky subscriber from sep 2006, i have given lot of feedback and suggestion to customer care but there is no improvement from their side. i dont think that there will not be any improvment by giving this type of suggestion.can anybody tell me why they have disable free on air channels? y they have removed 13 channels, y they have not add sunnetwork sofar.
 
i think tata takes responsibility of Dish only as its owned by them.for STB def. no responsibility after a year. we shud start hearing the cases abt STB/wire problem and what Tata Sky charges, as 1 yr of tatasky is abt to get over.
 
if you are a registered user of Tata Sky on their website , try this - Use the e-mail to contact customer service. It will inform you that you are already registered and then you cannot access it.Ergo - if you are already registered, what are you complaining about :)
 
i bought Tata Sky, hoping it will give more international channels. Till date we cannot watch TV5-Monde (French) channel which is already available with DISH TV. When do they plan to broadcast international channels ? Any Idea ?
 
Sure Tata Sky has some bad points but you have to remember that dishtv has been there since a long time and has an advantage over tatasky in terms of the foreign channels. With sun direct and reliance joining the race ,tatasky can't afford to sit around as the new entrants will have some tricks up their sleeves. I expect the dth scene to start gaining momentum post this monsoon and improve a lot.
