guyz in uk sky doesnt charge anything for the installation they give free dish and receiver when u signup for a year contract. sun will be able to charge less becoz they get their receiver cheaper by ordering in lakhs and with getting more subscribers their channels will get more viewers and they will be able to charge more to the advertisers in sun channels. so sun wont be losing much money. they will also be able to make money thru interactive services and making them to give the service cheap and still make money.
surely money is not a problem for sun tv ....they r like ambani brothers ,they just want to b no 1:O

sun tv stock is very much down. It still has lot of reserve funds. In the list of top executive pay, Mukesh Ambani got about 26 crores last year and Kalanidhu Maran, CEO of sun got about 24 crores, next only to Mukesh. Anil is way down the list with less than 4 crores.Sun has to keep the prices of stb and installation less than that of its competitors to gain entry. It was promoting the daily Dinakaran with freebies every day to make it no. 1; most of the sale was to DMK party members and to the public tempted by the freebies. Where is it now?Loss of political patronage and clout is a big loss to sun. Let us wait till Dec 1 to see the reaction of others.

Dear friends, Just now i spoke to this no 044 43411434.This is sun direct dth no.I asked them that what is the exact launch date of sun direct?.But they told me that ad will come on tv and newspaper and i asked whether it will come on 1 week or more?.They replied that it will come very soon.Guys,anyone plz call to this no and enquire it.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

man political patronage alone wont give a success, if it is so then jaya tv should have been no 1 during jaya period. sun is able to suceed becoz they dont mix their political patronage with the business. for them business is always the first preference. and abt dinakaran even after the fallout with dmk still dinakaran is no 1 in sales remember if it was the party man who make the sales of paper a success then murasoli and namadhu mgr of admk should have been in top list.
