When will BSNL launch new broadband plans?

cant tolerate it now.
it is impossible to watch any video between 11 am - 6 pm
my speed at speedtester.bsnl.co.in fluctuates between 90kbps - 360kps
the only other broadband at my place is the godfather airtel

You can get your line checked as said above. Add Splitter to the incoming line in your house, and give the line for your ADSL from the 'ADSL' point your splitter.
If you can, go to Modem configuration page (usually routerlogin.net or 192.168.1.1, you can check out in Network and Connections).

Try adjusting the line, by checking the wires! You should have a nice Attenuation and Noise Ratio (Signal-to-Noise). The nominal are 24.0 db (Downlink) 15 db (Uplink) and in Noise Margin 28 db(Downlink) 30 db(uplink).
It is best obtained when you've a DIRECT incoming line from the BSNL link to your Home! (Direct Line means the Incoming wire to your house).

i cannot go below 4mbps now. especially when bsnl gives you 60-70% of the advertised speeds.

get a MTNL 3G card and do a recharge of Rs.1650 and BINGO!!

Can be used pan india with no extra charge. Though, you'd still need a contact in Mum/del willing to buy an mtnl sim for you.

Wtf are you guys serious? Buy a mtnl sim, activate 3G of 1650 and 2mbps UL? Please tell me you're not joking. Have you guys used this outside del/mum? How are the speeds compared to what advertised? what about pings? I still cant believe i didn't knew this before

Your speeds will entirely depend on how bsnl 3g is in your locality because mtnl uses bsnl's network outside NCR and Mumbai.

Hope BSNL changes post FUP speeds to atleast 512kbps for higher end plans like 4Mbps/175GB. I crossed my FUP limit yesterday and had to download a 600 MB file today and my broadband connection has been like a constipated elephant the whole of today.
