When will BSNL launch new broadband plans?

hope its true man....atleast 1mbps yaar for god sake...we are in the march no signs of upgrading the speeds...
that's pathetic and lame approach why the hell people paying more money if they are not satisfied with even with these slow speeds?

Forget 1mbps min speed should atleast be 80KB/S if we are going to watch any Video Online Without Buffer

BSNL is S**K big time.they didnt increase their broadband speed from last few years but they hiked their plan.shitty company.512 kbps is shit speed comaparing to necessity of modern times.we need at least 4 mbps ULD in 1000-1200 monthly rental

There are some things to like about BSNL - It is not a joke. In Bangalore it is pretty much 'the' most reliable ISP and a very good billing system. I can understand, no one would be happy with 512kbps, I am not as well - but as far as reliability goes, BSNL is the best over here. There is Airtel and ACT broadband in my neighborhood which have much cheaper plans and who offer much better speeds but ask the guys who uses them - Once down - you simply don't know what to do. BSNL - In the 3 years I have used here, it's been been down for a combined period of 12 hours at max, that's how good it is.
I am not adverse to adding another ISP, but I wont disconnect BSNL - It will remain my primary ISP. I hope they increase speeds to atleast 1Mbps after the FUP.
But honestly, how many ISPs have 1Mbps after FUP - Very very few plans. Their FUP is greater thats all. So its not always good to bash BSNL, sometimes they work very well.

I m strongly disagree with you. When i was in marathahalli, bangalore.. all of sudden my telephone and boardband become dead. i called more than 1000 times bsnl customer care and visted indranagar exchage 100 time.
two months no one attended. they say only reasons and no action. Finally i send letter to MD(Bsnl) through my friend. then my issue was sorted out.
More they trottled the speed 80%. For 4 MBPS (FUP) paln gives of maxmium speed of 3.5 mbps Only.

Theres already a ULD [ unlimited with differential speed (fup) ] for 4 mbps @ 1k.

yeah , since he is complaining about 3.5 mbps on 4mbps plan, his downstream data rate must be at 4096 kbps (or 4mbps) and with this he will be getting 3.5 mbps only , to get full 4mbps , his data downstream rate should be atleast 5120 kbps (or 5mbps).

Lately in pune bsnl used to have great down times or very high pingback times! So was my decision to switch strengthened !

Bsnl owner and corrupted minister should be put behind bars but that not possible just saying what i feel
BSNL is government and uld800 60kb/s for 1145rs is not fair since it is government we accept BSNL to do much better.
