They are trying to make an Apple for India..atleast that's what I think..

well. they had no option but to price it between Redmi 2 and note 4g because it offers a compromise on both the phones.

has more ram than redmi 2.
has more internal storage than note 4g.
has more storage than redmi 2.
has a smaller battery than note 4g.
has a smaller display than note 4g.
etc. etc.

and the gap between redmi 2 and note 4g is just 2000 so well... nothing extraordinary about pricing.

Its a good deal. Good dual sim 4G phone with good camera and 2gb ram for 7k. Screen is also really good

So they still DO NOT want to bring even their inferior flagship MI Note (Not PRO) 16 GB version (forget the 64GB version) to India??

Brought Redmi 2 prime from flipkart. 6300 after 10% discount.
would have costed 5950 on Amazon but only white color option there.
