Was pumped when this handset was announced. Even after waiting till now ..there's no word from LG. They certainly lost me to Samsung.

lol. you do realize that samsung did not launch Nexus S and Galaxy Nexus in India as well. Nexus S was launched very very late and with a crappier display and a shitty price tag.

I do realize. That's why I was hoping for a change when google announced LG as its partner over Samsung for Nexus 4. Forget India..Even US play store couldn't be accessed by my friend when the phone was announced.

I can only assume that it might land in India officially once they are able to meet the demand in the US market.

Google has started selling Nexus 4 on its play store in Germany today some time back. US play store sales are expected to resume today at 9PST. Let's hope that US re-stock is not a rumour.
