A friend ordered Nexus 4 just lately, it's already been shipped form Google to his cousin.He wants to get it shipped to India now, what would be the cheapest and safest service or way?

2 to 3 versions I would say. GNex should probably see Upto L - for now I will say codename Laddoo

I guess approx 1.5 years.

GNex may max go upto K. And I'm being very optimistic. I'm sure that the GNex won't get to L (officially).

Yes. 2 versions are pretty much likely. I am sure Key Lime Pie is 99% coming on GNex. L would be pushing too much, I agree, but the dev community might be able to get it on it.

X phone might not be VFM like nexus 4. Plus would it get regular updates. Ofcourse google won't abandon nexus for x phone.
