MTNL TriB 749NU flaw!

i think if they don't change me to the dsl mtnl plan, i'll just stick to the 200p. i've been trying to find a new flaw since the last 2 wks but no luck . i finally gave in this monday and upgraded my tata plan to 512 unlimited. but i still have hope...

I called 1500 at around 11am today for plan change and got a call few mins back from MTNL for confirmation, now that was quick and the female who called for confirmation was speaking in English .....................

i had called day before yesterday for a plan change and i got a confirmation call today.

To be frank , this is not a flaw at all except for the Static users . Its been months that MTNL has been cutting the time itself (not the router , but ofcourse) without even scripts needed to disconnect before 8 am for the convinience of users , just try it out urself . Start the router at 2.30 , download as much as u want , disconnect at 8.15 , i.e before the 6 hours disconnection (u gotta have a little courage for doing this if ur doing this for the first time , or download a little file of 50 mb as an experiment) and check out the usage urself . u'll generally see a screwed up time like 7.15 , 7.30 or whatever random time , but the usage is counted after 8 only , EVEN IF the router is not rebooted . and yes , i myself have seen this for 2-3 months now , atleast in Mumbai or for that matter , i dont have a problem of even using scripts , cos MTNL does it for me .

When i called MTNL on 1500 it was pretty normal, i.e normal Aunty language which we are used to listen...........but confirmation call was from a young female speaking descent English.......:O

Maybe new employee, does not know the rules of MTNL CC!

yes when i had inquired abt 249 plan via email, some young voice lady called and spoke good english.
