hey i just now discovered that i can access my modem settings by the static ip assigned to me by mtnl... also i found a bunch of other modems i can connect to...(with just admin as pwd.. {changed my modem's pwd at this point} methinks there is some room for 'experimenting' here... (i m sure u guys already know this ... but i just found out....)due to some reason .. i only seem to be finding D-Link 502-t modems .... no 300r2u etc

Eureka, what a discovery!!!!!!!!!! This is the reason, there were so many threads previously asking users to change the Router Login password immediately. Previously it could cause a major issue like mis-use of accounts but now since Port Binding is in place, it may not be that damaging...........But still, changing router login password is necessary to be 100% safe! There is no room for "Experimenting here" but only a backroom of which you are now part of to discuss such issues!
