2500 is the regular price of a6/v6. it goes down to 2100 during sales or lightening deals. so you just for it to be at 2100-2200 to buy. i am in a similar scenario. an uncle wants the 4k fire tv stick. it's at regular 5999 pricing. during sale it sells for 3999. would order when it does so have to monitor pricing regularly.

never mind, it does not seem to have dropped under 4500 this year. lowest price in recent recorded history as per keepa was 3599 back in october last year.

But there was no sale yesterday. And the only reason why I am getting this a bit early is to reduce outsiders from visiting home or my Dad going volte-face on the permission. I will be wall mounting it and need to call electrician to drill holes. With cases increasing like mosquitoes, I don't mind paying a bit extra to get the job done rather than sitting the entire lockdown and watching youtube/OTT buffer at 1080p.

@Sushubh
A6 v3 is available only at 1999rs. for a long time.
I am planning to buy this one for one of my floors. I already have connected all 4 floors through CAT6 cable. Having Airtel is a blessing in such scenarios because of its bridge advantage.

yep but its reliable old horse and with openwrt support too
