at 256Kbps it would be a max of 2700MB ber day or about 80GB a month.
60x60x24x30=2592000secs a month
2592000 x 256Kbps / 8B /1024B =81000MB a month

From: http://www.economicexpert.com/a/Kilo.htmIn computing, kilo does not always exactly denote 1000 but is usually equivalent to 1024 (210), most often when denoting storage. For example, a kilobyte is 1024 byte
....
One prominent exception is the field of commodity hard drive manufacturing, where the smaller value is used in advertising and technical specifications.
.......
Other common examples often have their traditional SI meanings when referring to rates of data transfer. For instance, 56 kilo bit.

I think a download limit is fair , but 1 GB is stupid.

let the scene get settled and i shall be able to hand out roughly 10 invitees (2 to a site).. but one gotta keep a ratio of 1:1.5 (d/l:u/l) to be able to get releases the moment they are released, or one has to wait...Pupudada!
p.s.: having friends with groups like orion, fosi, tsrh and quite some more does help... even to register oneself in an invitee site without an invitation (now do not ask me about that please)
