WTF? Are you positive that they will announce new bb plans on 26th Jan? Someone please confirm this. If true, BEST NEWS EVER. Also hope that those new plans are not just for places like Ghaziabad, Gurgaon, Hyderabad etc

i hope they will launched soon coz the competition in the market heating up badly...so if they want them into the race..they definitely do something better more than expected

Right, yesterday BSNL launched new FTTH plans for AP. THey are impressive. One of them is like for 999 they are giving 2Mbps unlimited with speed boost for first few GBs at 10 Mbps I think. Why cant BSNL simply launch this plan on copper ... 2 Mbps unlimited ?

New BSNL FTTH for AP
599 - 4Mbps till 25 GB, 512 Kbps thereafter.999 - 16 Mbps till 50 GB, 2 Mbps thereafter -- WOW. This is what competition does to you. BEAM effect.2499 - 50 Mbps till 50 GB, 6 Mbps thereafter

Dude Reliance Just provides 4Mbps Speed, that's too less for downloading currently available games which have minimum 20 Gigs of Files even on torrents illegally, 25Mbps is my minimum choice Speed for me.
True, but I pay just 1100 and don't have any bullshit FUP cap. If I were in Hyderabad, I'd jump ship to Beam in a heartbeat.
And as far as Reliance' reliability goes, depends on the area and IS risky (though I haven't faced any issues in the last 15 months).

WTFISTHISSHIT?
I'm paying 1600 for the same plan every month in North. FUUU BSNL :anger3:

Right, so same service provider, and different plans in different states.
Why dont they release plans pan india, or at least somewhat close offerings in other states as compared to that in AP.
Right now there is world of difference.

Any source for this ?

brilliant plans first i have to say, then the question is why only in AP when everybody wants this kind of plans across india....i think by only the fear factor in competition i.e. beam such steps are taken but do remember that the other isp's providers in india as well to be in the competition ....
atleast launch truly unlimited plans, they already having great plans in their city we need it badly than those....so what are they thinking ,but they definitely do take some initiative...that's good to see..
